1045 steel weld-in threaded bungs with a reduced round pilot and seating shoulder for fabricated tube mounting. 1-3/8-6 UNC-2B right-hand thread through the part. Bare machined and deburred. Sold in 100-piece packs of one configuration; cart quantity 1 = 100 pieces.
Select tube-fit group and pilot length. Short pilot: 1.750 inches; long pilot: 2.250 inches. Overall length includes the pilot and shoulder thickness. Tube OD and wall are nominal references, not a guaranteed fit.
Measure and prepare the actual mating tube bore to the listed diameter +.005/-.000 inches. Pilot OD tolerance is +/- .002, giving .003-.012 diametral clearance. Shoulder OD tolerance +.000/-.005; pilot length and shoulder thickness +/- .003. All dimensions below are inches.
